Elf Bar’s newest big puff vape promises up to 10,000 puffs and 2 flavours in every vape. I was lucky enough to get to try the Elf Bar Dual 10K for myself, so let’s dive into my impressions!
The Elf Bar Dual 10K big puff vape houses 2 different flavours and can offer up to 10,000 puffs—5,000 puffs from each pod.
The vape is rechargeable, but as of now, it has no replacement pods on the market—meaning it’ll be subject to the upcoming disposable vape ban unless Elf Bar releases replaceable prefilled pods for the device.
With the boom in big puff vapes and the looming ban on non-refillable, non-rechargeable disposables, disposable vape brands and vape hardware manufacturers are scrambling to release devices that’ll pass the new regulations and offer more puffs to vapers.
I was lucky enough to get to try the Elf Bar Dual 10K for myself, and I of course have some notes (as always). So, without further ado, let’s take a closer look!

I had my pick of the litter for this review, so I chose the Lemon Edition vape, which features a Sour Pineapple Lemonade pod and a Lemon Lime pod.
Elf Bar provides instructions for assembly on the packaging, on the vape itself, and in the manual inside the box, though there's also a handy video tutorial if you're stuck.

When I first unboxed the vape, both pods were already seated inside the device and just needed to be pushed down. This took a feat of strength in itself and wasn’t easy, and I still haven’t managed to fully push the pods down; there’s a small gap at the top. I think this is due to the regulatory stickers on the pods. In addition, I can’t remove the pods—they’re really stuck in there. I’ve tried.
So, in essence, I don’t know how feasible it’d be to make the pods for this vape replaceable. They’ll need to be removable first.

Once the pods are in, though, it’s smooth sailing. The vape has a switch on the front, set to the middle by default. You can shift it left or right to choose your flavour. Operation is really seamless.
The vape is a bit clunkier than some other big puff vapes on the market simply due to its boxy build, but it’s really sturdy and durable for the price point.
The vape will display 3 squiggly lines on either side of the screen to show which flavour you currently have selected. Below that, you’ll see the battery indicator.
On the side of the vape, you’ll find the USB type-C port, and on the back, the flavours in the pods are etched into either side of the gradient. This little detail makes me think the device was never intended to have replaceable pods.

You’ll also notice the QUAQ logo on the back side of the device, which indicates that the vape uses Elf Bar’s patented mesh coil technology for denser, more flavourful vapour production.
The draw on the vape is on the tighter side, for sure—looser than a classic Elf Bar disposable vape but tighter than most refillable vapes. I was definitely happy with the airflow as a loose MTL/tight RDTL vaper.
The battery life on the device is excellent. I used it all weekend and only had to give it a recharge when it hit 25% on Monday. Recharging is quick and easy, too. Just remember that the device doesn't come with a charging cable—however, you can use any USB type-C cable you have on hand.
All in all, I’m definitely a fan of the Elf Bar Dual 10K vape, and I’d love to try more of the available flavours!

Sweet, sour, zingy, fresh, and a little frosty—this flavour ticks every box. It offers a blissful balance of every note in one harmonious puff, and I found myself favouring it while I used the device over the weekend.
If this were an E-Liquid, it’d be in my regular rotation, easily. If you love pineapple flavours, try this one—you’re gonna love it. to deliver a delightful vaping journey.

The flavour in this one was a bit milder compared to the other, but I loved it nonetheless. It’s sweet and zesty with just a hint of icy coolness, perfect for fans of this classic citrus combo.
I found myself favouring the Sour Pineapple Lemonade flavour, but truthfully, this one is dynamite. If you’re normally a fan of lemon lime flavours, you won’t be disappointed.
Overall Rating: 4.5 stars
As is the case with all disposables, no, the Elf Bar Dual 10K does not really house 10,000 puffs. You can read more about how puff counts on vapes are calculated in our guide: Are "Puff Counts" Accurate?
The long and short of it is that generally speaking, whenever you see an advertised puff count, you should halve it. So, a 600 puff vape will likely provide around 300 puffs, and in the case of the Elf Bar Dual 10K, you’re likely to get around 5,000 puffs.
This is because these vapes are machine-measured to calculate the puff count. The machines used take very short MTL puffs lasting about half a second (while most vapers’ puffs are at least a second long). The factory then takes the average number of puffs achieved by the machines and rounds it up to the nearest hundred.
So, if your puffs are longer than half a second—and, let’s be real, they probably are—you’re not going to get the full advertised puff count. If your puffs are a second long, which is the average, you should halve the puff count. If your puffs are closer to 2 seconds long, you’ll realistically only get about a quarter of the advertised puff count from a given vape.
This is why all advertised puff counts are merely estimates—not guarantees.
With that being said, I used this vape for an entire weekend (not exclusively). I’d say I vaped it about as much as a regular, casual vaper would. I favoured one flavour over the other (Sour Pineapple Lemonade), and by Monday, that pod looks like it has about 1ml of juice left inside. The other pod looks about half-full.
So, I am getting more time out of the vape than I expected. But, of course, it’s not going to give me 10,000 puffs.
I really wish disposable manufacturers across the board were held accountable for their false advertising, so vape stores (like us) didn’t have to bear the brunt of the complaints from disappointed customers.
First thing’s first: the Elf Bar Dual 10K is legal for now. It may not be once the new disposable vape ban comes into effect in June.
However, as of this moment, the Elf Bar Dual 10K is legal because it features some nifty workarounds to the current TPD rules.
Beneath the “pods” you can see from the outside, there are two 1ml pods. The “pods” you push into place when you first start using the device are actually 5ml refill containers, not pods—which is a workaround for the TPD regulations stating that:
So, essentially, the Elf Bar Dual 10K has two pods (inside, out of sight) that hold a cumulative 2ml of E-Liquid, plus two refill containers (the visible "pods" on top) which hold a total of 10ml of E-Liquid.
This is how the Elf Bar Dual 10K is legal.
All in all, I’m definitely a fan of the Elf Bar Dual 10K. The design is stellar and the device is easy to use, though some vapers have mixed opinions on the device’s longevity and flavour intensity. I can see why, of course—any vape that promises 10,000 puffs (and, of course, doesn’t deliver) is going to be met with criticism.
But in my experience, the Elf Bar Dual 10K is a lovely vape, albeit a bit clunky in size, with really seamless operation and a nice, hefty battery.
If not for the disposable nature of the product, I’d definitely be buying more.
