OXVA sent over all 10 of the new OXVA Xlim prefilled pods for us to review, so let’s take a closer look at the flavours to help you find your new favourite!
With the launch of their new range of prefilled vape pods, OXVA sent over one of each of their new OXVA Xlim prefilled pods for us to try. After tasting them, I just knew I had to write a review!

The OXVA Xlim prefilled pods come filled with 2ml of 20mg (2%) nicotine salt E-Liquid, and they’re not refillable. Instead, once the pod is empty, simply discard it and replace it with a new one. The pods have a 1.2Ω (ohm) resistance, and their ideal wattage is 12W. They’re sold in packs of 3 for £7.99, so you won’t be getting the packaging seen here—the box I got was for promotional purposes only.
OXVA sent over a lovely presentation box with one of each Xlim prefilled pod flavour for us to try. As a proud owner of the Xlim Pro (which I use as my current daily driver), I was so stoked to get to sample these.
You’ll notice that my vape is looking a little worse for wear—she’s fought a long, hard battle with my clumsiness and has met the wood floor in my flat far too many times. Nevertheless, she perseveres.

As always, these are my opinions, and they will of course be coloured by my personal preferences. I’ve included ice and sweetness levels as a more objective measurement—and bear in mind that a higher sweetness or ice level doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s better.

Flavour: Blackberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Ice
Mr Blue is a go-to flavour for me, so I was really interested to try this one. And, of course, this Xlim pod flavour was an instant favourite.
A dark, rich berry flavour with an ice-cold exhale, the Mr Blue pod delivers exactly what it promises.
Funny enough, I was using the Mr Blue Bar Juice flavour in my refillable pod when I swapped to this one, and you can tell they use different flavourings. I think I actually prefer OXVA’s version, funny enough.
This flavour is extremely rich and juicy-tasting, with an ultra-satisfying inhale. I really can’t recommend it enough. It’s sweet, juicy, and luscious, just how I like it.

Flavour: Pineapple, Ice
Regular readers will know that I’m not often fond of pineapple flavours. They’re usually too rich and cloying for my taste. The Pineapple Ice pod from OXVA really shocked me.
This flavour is zingier than other pineapple ice flavours I’ve tried, which I’m guessing is why it’s not so sickly. The acidity really balances out the sweetness of what would normally be a super rich flavour.
Overall, this Xlim prefilled pod flavour is extremely balanced and has won me over to the pineapple team. OXVA really knocked it out of the park here.

Flavour: Kiwi, Passion Fruit, Guava, Ice
Another flavour I was sure I’d dislike, the Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava pod really blew me away. I have never found a Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava flavour that wasn’t too sweet and icy for my taste. I like it sweet, and I like ice, but Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava flavours are usually enough to give me a headache.
But god, this one is amazing. It has the perfect balance of sweetness and ice, plus a nice sharpness at the front of your tongue on the inhale. It’s followed by a nice, almost floral aftertaste from the guava and a subtle wave of cooling ice on the exhale.
This is hands down the best Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava flavour I’ve ever tried.

Flavour: Apple, Peach, Ice
I didn’t expect to like the Apple Peach Xlim prefilled pod flavour as much as I did, but here we are. Another home run for OXVA. I could easily vape this all day.
At the forefront of this prefilled pod is a rich, authentic peach flavour—juicy and sweet. I’d say peach is the dominant flavour. The apple comes though on the exhale: cool, crisp, and delicate.
Unlike other peach flavours, which can be a bit sickly after a while, this one was really well-balanced and fresh-tasting. I can’t recommend it enough.

Flavour: Lemonade, Rose, Ice
I’ve never vaped a rose flavour before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Somehow, this flavour exceeded my expectations. I never thought I’d love a floral flavour so much!
It’s uncanny how much it tastes like the smell of roses without tasting soapy or perfumey. And with the base layer of cool, freshly pressed cloudy lemonade, this flavour is a real knock-out.
Fans of refreshing floral flavours will fall in love with this Xlim prefilled pod—I’m sure of it. I’m not usually a fan, but I really loved this one.

£7.99 per pack
Flavour: Watermelon, Ice
The Watermelon Ice flavour delivers exactly what you’d expect: that classic candied watermelon flavour, not too sweet, with a nice icy breeze on the exhale.
I was grateful that the flavour was so nicely balanced, as I’ve tried versions of this flavour before that have been really sickly. This one treads that fine line between extra sweet and too sweet, and it really nails the balance.
It doesn’t taste like authentic watermelon, by any means, but who’s asking for that in a disposable pod? If you like that candied fruit taste, you’ll love these prefilled pods from OXVA.

Flavour: Candy, Fruit, Ice
Candy fans are gonna love this flavour—I guarantee it. And while candy flavours aren’t usually my cup of tea, I can really see the appeal with this one. Heck, I might even be a convert now.
This pod flavour is a sweet confection of fresh mixed fruits—with notes of strawberry, grape, peach, and more. The sugary-sweet frosted coating is almost tangible here.
The gentle ice on the exhale really balances out the sweetness, and the flavour leaves a really nice, fruity aftertaste.
I know rainbow candy is a hugely popular flavour profile, and I think OXVA really got this one right. I’m sure candy fans will fall in love.

Flavour: Mango, Ice
I was prepared for this one to be my favourite—and while it was nice at first, it has a certain artificial aftertaste to it that I’m not super keen on. But that’s just me.
I’m not sure of the exact names, but there are two primary mango flavourings used in E-Liquids and disposables—one I love, the other not so much. I think this pod uses the same mango flavouring as the Elf Bar 600 vape, which falls into the “not so much” category for me.
That being said, if you love the Triple Mango profile from the likes of Elf Bar or Lost Mary, you should disregard my opinions—the flavour here is identical. Eerily so. While I think it could've been balanced with a little less sweetener and a little more ice, I know fans of other Triple Mango vapes will disagree.

Flavour: Cherry, Fizz, Ice
The Fizzy Cherry Xlim prefilled pod is a deep, fruity flavour with a breezy, ice-cold finish. The cherry is artificial-tasting, which isn’t a negative in itself (see Watermelon ice), but it was the aftertaste I wasn’t so keen on.
The fruit flavour is really nice: deep, rich, and tart. The balance of ice is really well thought-out as well. The flavour is a bit more sour than it is fizzy, I will say, with something vaguely floral to it on the exhale.
The aftertaste was a bit odd for me—it was almost perfume-y. I’m not sure exactly what it is, but it was enough to make me want to swap pods (personally). Aside from the aftertaste, it’s a really well-rounded flavour.

Flavour: Strawberry, Raspberry, Cherry, Ice
I should mention up front that I’ve never really loved this flavour combo. So, if you like this flavour from other brands like Elf Bar, you should disregard my opinions.
Personally, I found this flavour to be a bit soapy, though this quality isn’t as pronounced as with other brands’ versions of the flavour. I get a sort of ice cream-like undertone that I’m not super keen on. The berry flavours aren’t super distinct; it’s more of a light red berry mix with a creamy underlayer. And while the ice does a great job of balancing out the sweetness here, I’m just not a huge fan.
I will say that this flavour tastes almost exactly like every other Strawberry Raspberry Cherry disposable vape or E-Liquid I’ve tried before. So, if that’s your jam, you’ll love this one.
The Xlim prefilled pods themselves aren’t as sleek-looking or ritzy as their refillable counterparts, though that doesn’t matter much to me. It does make my vape look instantly cheaper, but if I cared about how expensive my vape looked, I’d be remiss.

As far as functionality is concerned, my main gripe about the Xlim prefilled pods is that you have no way of knowing how much liquid you have left until it’s too late and you’ve got that horrible burnt cotton taste. The original Elf Bar Elfa pods had the same issue, which was then rectified in the next iteration. I sorely hope OXVA does the same in future versions of these pods, because the flavours are dynamite.
I also hope they come out with other nicotine strengths as well. I know 20mg is the standard for most disposable and non-refillable devices given that their target audience is recent vaping converts. But as someone who vapes 10mg, I’d love to see lower strength options in the future.
Otherwise, I really love the Xlim prefilled pods. The flavours are unique and well thought-out, with balanced flavourings and ice and an obvious amount of care put into their creation.
As always, I—a diehard OXVA fan—can’t wait to see what comes next.
There you have it: these ground-breaking pods for your OXVA Xlim device are tasty and convenient, and the flavours are simply exceptional.
To round it all up, my favourites are:
If you’ve got an OXVA Xlim vape (not the Xlim C, unfortunately), I can’t recommend the Xlim prefilled pods enough!

Thanks again to OXVA for sending these over!
