Riot X is a new range of flavour-packed nic salts from Riot. Available in 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg strengths, these salts boast a unique and eclectic array of ultra-concentrated flavours you’re sure to love. Let’s take a closer look!
Riot X is a new range of nic salt E-Liquids from Riot, offering unique flavour combinations alongside several tried-and-true classics. Riot X nic salts promise the most intense flavours on the market, and I was keen to test that myself!
Available in 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg strengths, these nic salts are ideal for use in MTL pod vapes and starter kits. They’re particularly useful for those switching from smoking to vaping thanks to their nicotine salt formulation, which delivers smooth clouds and a punchy throat hit that’ll help keep your nicotine cravings at bay.
Without further preamble, let’s dive into my review!
As usual, I’m testing these E-Liquids in my OXVA Xlim Pro 2. Each flavour gets its own 0.4Ω (ohm) OXVA Xlim V3 pod to prevent flavour crossover. I chose the 0.4Ω resistance pods because they create the biggest clouds and give the best and cleanest impression of the flavour.
Before I get into it, I’m a huge fan of the range, and my ratings will reflect this—but I promise I’m not a shill! This is absolutely my honest feedback.

Flavour: Pineapple, Raspberry, Sour, Ice
This was the flavour I couldn’t put down. I took it home with me, swapping it every so often with my regular out-of-hours vape. I truly couldn’t get enough.
The pineapple is super zingy-sweet with a nice amount of ice on the exhale to refresh the palate. It’s not heavy on the raspberry, which I liked, but the richness of the berry and the sour notes help to offset the cloying sweetness of the pineapple, resulting in a really lovely and well-balanced vape.
I keep going back to this flavour again and again. I’m so glad Riot sent us so many samples!

Flavour: Peppermint, Spearmint
First thing’s first: I’m not a mint vape gal. I’m not averse or repulsed (like some people who feel that mint belongs in toothpaste and gum), but I can honestly say I’ve never reached for a purely-mint vape in my life.
With that being said, this flavour is exactly what it says on the tin, and I really enjoyed it.
The strong, ultra-sweet peppermint flavour is cool and refreshing, leaving a lingering minty aftertaste that quells some of the dryness that other E-Liquid flavours leave behind.
It was just incredibly refreshing. If you’re a fan of mint and menthol flavours and like an ultra-sweet burst in your vape, look no further.

Flavour: Cola, Ice
I wasn’t expecting to love this flavour so much, truly. It’s undoubtedly the best cola flavour I’ve ever tried. To be fair, I think my second place is also a Riot flavour.
This flavour is sweeter than most other cola vapes I’ve tried, which is a huge plus for me. When I want a cola vape, I’m not asking for Diet Coke—I want the full-fat experience.
This cola flavour gives plenty of sweetness to scratch that cola itch alongside a hefty burst of icy goodness.
The E-Liquid tastes a bit more like fizzy cola bottle sweets than it does actual cola, but this isn’t to its detriment. I really, really love this one, and if you like fizzy drink flavours, I know you’ll feel the same.

Flavour: Cherry, Banana, Ice
I was really curious to try this one, as I wasn’t entirely sure what it’s taste like. My first impression was that it reminded me of those Shrimps and Bananas sweets.
The E-Liquid has a super sweet candy-like taste, but it’s not grating or cloying, in my opinion.
There’s a really nice richness from the banana blended with the tartness from the morello cherry, which lends a really lovely balance. Both flavours are really distinct, with a refreshing bit of ice on the exhale.
This is a really nice and unique flavour to add to your regular rotation if you’re a fan of sweets and fruity flavours.

Flavour: Blueberry, Peach, Fizz, Ice
I don’t usually reach for blueberry or peach flavours, so this one was a delightful surprise to me. With all of its high customer ratings, I was expecting a treat—and I wasn’t disappointed.
The flavour is more sour-sweet than rich-sweet, which is quite refreshing, as it doesn’t get cloying or sickly. I get more sour than fizz, and truthfully, the peach flavour is hard to distinguish.
The blueberry flavour is quite strong on the aftertaste and has a nice candied quality to it.
While I do feel like the name is a bit misleading, the flavour is absolutely lovely. It’s sweet and sour and perfectly balanced, so it’s perfect for fans of sweet, fruity E-Liquid flavours.
All in all, I didn’t find a single flavour I didn’t like in the Riot X range. I would even go as far as to say that I could easily vape any of these flavours all day without it feeling like a chore—which isn’t something I can say about most E-Liquid ranges.
Riot X is a strong, complex, and eclectic range of flavours made infinitely more intense by the low-resistance pods I was using. The 0.4Ω pods made the range an absolute treat.
In addition, Riot X is a slight departure from previous Riot ranges, as the nic salts all come in nifty little cardboard boxes.
I’m honestly a huge fan of the range, and I got my husband turned onto it too; he’s impossible to please and only vapes one flavour (NRG Ice by Bar Juice), but when he tried the Cola Ice by Riot X, he fell in love—just like I did!
