Vaporesso have just brought out their latest matchbox-style pod kit: the Vaporesso Eco Nano Pro. It's Equipped with a built-in 1000mAh battery that can reach a full charge in just 40 minutes, an eye-catching display screen and a handy slider that adjusts both airflow and power settings. Let's take a closer look!
Vaporesso sent us a cheeky sample of the successor to their innovative, disposable-alternative Eco Nano Pod Kit, the Eco Nano Pro.
Vaporesso have had a great couple of years, with their XROS vapes series of pod kits taking the vaping industry by storm. I’m excited to try the Pro and see whether their Eco Nano range reaches the same heights with its latest entry.
The Vaporesso Eco Nano Pro builds upon its predecessor with an adjustable airflow, dual power modes and a lower resistance Lush 0.6Ω (ohm) pod that’s perfect for both MTL (Mouth To Lung) and RDL (Restricted Direct To Lung) vaping.
It’s also been updated with a handy, eye-catching display screen that tells you exactly how much power its built-in 1000mAh battery has left in 1% increments.
The Vaporesso Eco Nano Pro is a sleek and portable device designed for Mouth To Lung (MTL) and Restricted Direct To Lung (RDL) vaping. It’s a great alternative to disposable vapes, and perfect for beginners and experts alike, offering a simple yet versatile experience with a built-in 1000mAh battery, dual power modes, and a max output of 20W.

If you’re familiar with Vaporesso kits, then I’d imagine you know what to expect when they bring out a ‘Nano’ device. Just like the Xros 4 Nano and the original Eco Nano device, the Eco Nano Pro is a matchbox-style pod kit that you can easily slip right in your pocket, so vaping with it on the go is no hassle at all.
I’m always on the go, whether I’m commuting to the office or just out and about on random side quests, so this is already a big plus for me.
Vaporesso were kind enough to send us a few finishes, but I went with Emerald Green for this review. One thing I’ll point out right off the bat, is that this colourway looks a little bit brighter in the image renders than it does when the real thing is right in front of you. However, I prefer this slightly more muted tone, so this isn’t really an issue for me.
Whatever colourway you get your hands on, the Eco Nano Pro has a sleek metallic finish, a design choice that it inherited from its predecessor. I’m glad they stuck with it, as it looks very clean and modern. In fact, paired with the Emerald Green colourway I went for, it kind of gives me early Halo vibes.
On the front of the device, there’s a large interactive display screen with eye-catching orange and green details. It displays a whimsical little graphic of a flying saucer when you take a puff, which fits its futuristic sci-fi aesthetic nicely.

On the right, you’ll find an airflow control slider (an upgrade to the fixed airflow of the original Eco Nano), while a USB-C charging port sits at the base.
Right next to the charging port, is the name of the device (in case you were wondering, I suppose) and the capacity of the built-in battery. On the back of the device, you’ll notice a small Vaporesso icon, not much else to see there.
The Eco Nano Pro is a bit larger and heavier than the original Eco Nano, weighing 65 grams (the original weighs 50 grams). The Xros 4 Nano is also a bit sturdier than the OG Xros Nano, so there seems to be a bit of a trend of Vaporesso bulking up their nano devices.
Personally, I’m a big fan of vapes that strike a balance between portability and a robust construction, so I’m happy with this. That said, if you’re after something as lightweight as the original Eco Nano, then you may be a bit disappointed.
The Vaporesso Eco Nano Pro boasts a very user-friendly interface and offers some handy features that reduce setup time, and keep maintenance to a bare minimum.
The Vaporesso Eco Nano Pro is inhale activated and features a sleek, buttonless design.
Once you’ve loaded your pod in and you’re happy with your airflow and power settings, simply puff on the mouthpiece to start vaping. Again, this keeps things simple enough for the Eco Nano Pro to be a viable alternative to disposable vapes.
Let's have a look at how the interface impacts your overall vaping experience.
The Vaporesso Eco Nano Pro’s interface is very aesthetically pleasing and eye-catching. The original Eco Nano is a bit bare bones and doesn’t really have a user interface to work with, so that’s a step up.
Aside from the quirky sci-fi imagery I mentioned earlier, the best thing about the display screen is that it shows exactly how much battery life the device has left in 1% increments. This gives you a much fuller picture than green-blue-red LED indicators and there’s no guesswork as to how long it’ll keep you going for.
However, the screen does leave a bit to be desired. While the battery life being displayed in exact percentages is super handy, it doesn’t display much else. Most devices with screens also tend to show the coil resistance and maybe even a puff count or duration if you’re lucky.

I get that the screen (and the device in general) is pretty small, but I feel that they could’ve made it slightly larger just so that it can fit all the relevant information.
With all that being said, something handy that the screen does display is which mode the device is set to (we’ll talk about these in more detail and how to toggle between them later on).
If you’re vaping in ‘Power Mode’, then the LEDs will turn orange and the screen will display ‘PWR’ in capital letters. Conversely, if you switch it to Eco Mode, the lighting will turn green and ‘Eco’ will show on the screen.
As I touched on earlier, I’m pleased that Vaporesso decided to give the Eco Nano Pro an adjustable airflow, as I think its predecessor’s fixed airflow held it back slightly when compared to some other modern pod kits by big-name brands.
The airflow control slider on the side of the device is nice and stable, it’ll stay exactly where you put it and won’t drift around all over the place. It isn’t too rigid either, so you won’t have to deal with it getting stuck. This makes switching between a tighter MTL vape and a looser RDL draw seamless, as you can effortlessly tailor the feel of your inhale.

The airflow slider also doubles up as a way of switching between output modes. Restricting the airflow will set the device to Eco Mode, while opening it up will set it to Power Mode (I promise I’ll explain these modes in more detail, just bear with me).
This is quite a cool feature, but I’m not sure that everyone will be the biggest fan. I’d imagine that some people might want to tailor their inhale without switching the device to a different output mode. Still though, it’s a pretty nifty design feature.
Right, let’s finally get onto the two output modes that the Eco Nano Pro has to offer; Eco Mode and Power Mode. As the name suggests, Eco Mode lowers power consumption to conserve your device’s battery life when it's running low.
Power Mode, on the other hand, ramps everything up for a more intense flavour and increased vapour production.
This corresponds with how the adjustable airflow works, which is why the slider is used to toggle both. While some vapers may have a slight issue with this, you can see the logic, as it cuts down on setup and removes the need for any buttons or menus.
It seems that Vaporesso have gone with a ‘less is more’ approach when it comes to the airflow control and power settings.
You could argue that they could’ve perhaps added some more output modes, such as Variable Wattage for example. But I think their decision to keep things a bit more simple makes it a very solid option if you’re after a beginner-friendly disposable-alternative.
Like the original Eco Nano, the Pro houses a built-in 1000mAh battery, which should keep you going for the best part of a day before you’ll need to recharge it. As mentioned, the battery life is displayed on the screen in 1% increments
Like any modern vape kit from a reputable manufacturer, it utilises 2A USB-C fast charging and is advertised to reach a full charge in about 40 minutes. It’ll reach an 80% charge in just 20 minutes, so there’s not much waiting around to start vaping again. I tested this myself just to be sure and it’s pretty spot on, so no complaints there.
However, despite the super speedy charging, it unfortunately doesn’t come with a charging cable. While this is a bit of a downside, it’s becoming increasingly popular with vape kits that get released these days. Still, it wouldn’t have hurt to include one.
The Vaporesso Eco Nano Pro is compatible with the entire range of Eco Nano pods, with one 0.6Ω pod included with the kit. Depending on your power and airflow settings, the included pod can support either MTL or RDL vaping, while the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods (available separately) are perfect for authentic MTL vaping.
Whatever pod you go for, the built-in coil design cuts down on maintenance, as you can just change the whole pod instead of fiddling around with coil replacements. To top a pod up, just lift up the stopper at the bottom and fill it with some nic salt or 50/50 e-liquid.

While the Eco Nano Pro’s full compatibility with the whole range of Eco Nano pods is great and all, I feel that Vaporesso could’ve at least included one more pod with the kit, whether it be the 0.8Ω or the 1.2Ω version.
It’s not a massive deal, but it’d mean you could experiment with different levels of vapour production, while also saving you from having to stock up on new pods so soon. Nevertheless, the included pod does the job if you’re looking to enjoy your favourite bar salts in a beginner-friendly alternative to disposables.
That said, there are a couple of issues that I have with the pod itself. For starters, I’m not a huge fan of bottom-filled pods. This really just comes down to personal preference, but I feel a top-fill or side-fill system would make the refilling process that bit easier.

The main issue, however, is the opaque design. It’s not that easy to see exactly how much e-liquid is left inside the pod, which has caused me to under or overfill it a couple of times. A more transparent design would be a lot more user-friendly, especially for newbies and those switching over from disposable vapes.
Luckily for our friends across the pond and elsewhere (but not so much for us), this e-liquid visibility issue with the pod is exclusive to the TPD version. Since the original version of the pod features a 6ml capacity, they've used a layer of silicone to cap it out at 2ml, which explains the weird opaque design.
Fair enough, but I'm sure they could've thought of a way to make a TPD-compliant version of the pod without making it such a pain to refill!
Getting started with the Vaporesso Eco Nano Pro is quick and easy. A buttonless design, inhale activation and dual power modes make for a fuss-free experience. Just pop a filled pod in, configure your power and airflow settings with the flip of a switch, then simply inhale on the mouthpiece to vape.
When the coil inside your pod is finished, just replace the whole pod with a fresh one — no messy coil replacements required. Out of battery? USB-C fast charging ensures that your vape is up and running again in no time.
Aside from a couple of small gripes with the pod, I haven’t had any functionality issues so far, it’s pretty solid overall.
The Vaporesso Eco Nano Pro is a great choice for MTL and RDL vapers who are after something a little simpler and more portable than some other similar devices.
It’s also a decent option for disposable vapers looking to move onto something more long-term, as its use of inhale activation and compatibility with nic salts mimics the disposable experience pretty authentically.
If you’re always on the go, then it's perfect, as its compact and square-form profile makes it super easy to slip right in your pocket. Plus, the 1000mAh built-in battery means it shouldn’t die on you when you’re out and about, provided it has a sufficient charge level beforehand.
When you get your head around the multi-function slider used to toggle airflow settings and power modes (which is actually fairly simple really), then you should have a breeze using the Eco Nano Pro as a beginner vaper.
When it comes to accessibility, there are some areas where the Eco Nano Pro really shines, and others where it misses the mark a bit.
Its dynamic full-colour display screen makes it pretty accessible for visually impaired vapers, with the battery life and output mode clearly displayed in vibrant green and orange lighting.
On the other hand, they might have some difficulty with the opaque pod design. I have 20/20 vision, so if I’m having trouble seeing exactly how much vape juice is left in the pod, I imagine they would too.
It's accessible to those with dexterity issues for the most part. The buttonless design, use of inhale activation and built-in coil pod keeps maintenance and fiddling around to a minimum, as does the multi-function slider used for both airflow control and power adjustment.
The only thing I can think of that may pose some difficulty, is the bottom-fill design of the pod.
Overall, I think the Eco Nano Pro is fairly accessible by and large. I’d recommend it to those with visual or dexterity impairments, with the caveat that some aspects of the pod design might come with some challenges.
The Eco Nano Pro boasts some nifty features that set it apart from a lot of similar matchbox-style pod vapes. That said, there's a few things that let it down a bit too. Let's break it all down and see how the pros weigh up against the cons.

Overall Rating: 4.61 stars
So, there we go, a comprehensive look at the Vaporesso Eco Nano Pro. I enjoyed testing this kit out and aside from some minor drawbacks here and there, it’s a pretty solid piece of hardware all in all. Massive thank you to our pals over at Vaporesso for sending over these samples to review.
If you’re thinking of updating your setup with a simple pod kit that offers user-friendly features and a smooth vape, I’d definitely recommend the Eco Nano Pro. The screen looks great and the 0.6 ohm pod really packs a punch when paired with nic salts. The power and airflow control slider is pretty nifty too, as you can kill two bird with one stone.
