The OXVA Xlim pod vape series is a range of pod kits created for new vapers (and recent ex-smokers). These kits offer sleek designs and user-friendly interfaces, with an array of models catering to all different experience levels.
For beginners, there’s the OXVA Xlim SE, which has no buttons and makes for an excellent alternative to disposable vapes. And for more adventurous MTL vapers, the OXVA Xlim Pro and the Xlim SQ Pro offer adjustable wattage to really tailor your vape to suit your preferences.

All of the vape kits in the Xlim series are compatible with OXVA pods. Most of these pods have built-in mesh coils, though the Xlim C pod uses replaceable vape coils.
In this article, we’ll be breaking down all the different OXVA Xlim pods available, from the refillable to the prefilled and all the variations in between. So, if you’re unsure which pod to get for your specific device, E-Liquid, or vaping style, read on.
There are 4 different types of vape pods available for the OXVA Xlim series, including two refillable versions with built-in coils, one with changeable coils, and a series of prefilled vape pods.
One thing all OXVA Xlim pods have in common is that they’re designed for use with high-PG E-Liquids, including nic salts and 50/50 freebase 10ml liquids.
Let’s break down all the different pods available.
OXVA Xlim V2 pods have built-in mesh coils for extra flavourful vapour and have a bottom fill port with a silicone plug. They’re sold in packs of 3 and are available in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω resistances.
The location of the fill port on the V2 pods can sometimes lead to coil flooding if you refill your pod with the tip of the E-Liquid bottle pressed against the cotton in the coil. You can avoid this by taking care when filling.
OXVA Xlim V3 pods, like the V2 version, are sold in packs of 3 and have delicious built-in mesh coils, but they have a top-side fill port for easier refills. They're also less prone to the coil flooding issue the V2 pods have for this reason.
In addition, the V3 pods are available in a 0.4Ω resistance alongside the available 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω resistances, so there are more options to choose from—but the 0.4Ω pods can only be used with certain devices.
The OXVA Xlim C pods are designed for use with the OXVA Xlim C pod kit only. They’re available in packs of 2, but as long as you take care of them, they won’t need to be replaced. You’ll only need to replace the pod if it becomes cracked or no longer holds its coil securely in place.
The Xlim C Pods have a bottom fill port like the V2 pods do, and the OXVA Xlim C coils used in the pods are available in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω resistances.
OXVA Xlim prefilled pods are sold in packs of 3 and come pre-filled with 2ml of 20mg (2%) strength nic salt E-Liquid. They’re a great option for vapers transitioning away from disposables and those who need something hassle-free to take with them on the go.

Pod resistances are generally a personal preference. Lower resistances are great for big clouds of vapour, especially if you're using 50/50 freebase 10ml E-Liquids. Higher resistances are great for discreet clouds and a smoother throat hit.
OXVA recommends using freebase E-Liquids with the lower-resistance pods, but I've used nic salts in all of the available pods with no issue. So, you can definitely use salt nic in any of the available pods. But if you plan on using freebase 50/50 E-Liquids, I'd definitely recommend opting for the 0.6Ω (ohm) resistance or lower for best results.
